Sixth Annual Okanagan Lake Presbyterian Pot Luck Camp August 6-8, 2010

The weekend of August 6th to 8th, 2010
This summer, plan a vacation in the sunny Okanagan of BC, and attend
the Presbyterian Pot Luck Camp at Fintry Provincial Park group campsite
on beautiful Okanagan Lake.
This Pot Luck Camp is organized by the Okanagan Renewal Team of the
Renewal Fellowship within the Presbyterian Church in Canada. The Rev.
Calvin Brown is Executive Director.
What's a POT LUCK
Camp?
It is a loosely organized happening that comes together with
whatever everyone brings to it. You bring yourself, family, friend,
kids, non-church friends, tent, RV, boat, food, etc. We supply the
venue, three nights of great Christian fellowship, a speaker to
stimulate us in our faith, some group games, and friendships that will
last forever! Last year had to be cancelled due to the nearby wildfire,
but normally, about twenty five adults and children enjoy a great time
of fellowship, swimming, kayaking, boating, and wake tubing!
What to
do?
Our speaker will challenge and encourage us three times in our
faith. The rest of the time swim, enjoy the beaches, cruise the lake in
the boat, kayak, hike to the falls, pray, learn about the work of the
Renewal Fellowship, worship, read, chat, play games, make new friends.
You will meet Presbyterian Christians from the Okanagan and other parts
of BC and Canada!
Where?
Historic and beautiful, Fintry Provincial Park is on a peninsula
jutting out into Okanagan Lake. It was the estate of a pioneer who named
it after his home in Scotland.

get to Kelowna or Vernon,
Follow the road on the west shore of Lake Okanagan to Fintry...
BUT watch out on the winding road for motor homes, marmots, and mule
deer!
Arrival: after 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 6th.

Your Spot
Online registration has been discontinued, but you can mail a cheque
payable to "Okanagan Renewal Team" for the $20 non-refundable
registration fee to Richard Moffat, 271 Glenmore Road, Kelowna BC V1V
1V6, including your name, address, telephone, e-mail address, the number
of kids, teens, and adults in your party, and your church affiliation
(if applicable). A balance of $24 for each of the three nights stayed is
due on arrival.
